All prospective clients have the opportunity to meet with current or past clients to find out more about their experience of our rehabilitation programme.
Clients with brain injuries often report a change in their views of themselves following their injuries. Our approach to rehabilitation (Wilson, et al., 2009) helps clients to develop an updated and realistic sense of their own identity.
You can find out more about our approach to rehabilitation by reading our book, Life After Brain Injury: Survivors' Stories (2013). This book tells the stories of 17 clients who provide first-hand accounts of their rehabilitation at the Oliver Zangwill Centre, along with reports from the professionals who worked with them.
We recommend this book to current and prospective clients and their families as well as professionals working in the field of neuro-rehabilitation.
