The Oliver Zangwill Centre has run many successful training days, conferences and other education and training events since its inception. We provide some examples of what we can offer below.
At the Oliver Zangwill Centre
We can host delegates and groups at our in house training facilities. In the past, we have had visitors from across the world who have attended training packages to meet their budgets and training needs. Our visitors have options such as meeting current or past clients and experiencing our world renowned rehabilitation programme first hand. The training we provide helps these groups of rehabilitation professionals to get ideas and innovations to implement in their own contexts. We also offer visits to community-based neuro-rehabilitation services. Other options are also available.
We are available for further consultation and supervision following such training packages.
In your own setting
We can provide cost-effective training that meets your needs in your own setting. This involves one or more trainers attending your own rehabilitation facility and providing training on topics and issues of your specification. Sample topics include:

We also provide training on making the most of our recently published workbook on rehabilitation.
Online training and webinars
Some services prefer training delivered via the internet or webinars and we are happy to tailor such training to your needs.
We provide a range of one-day continuous professional development (CPD) days to rehabilitation professionals. The training generally takes place at the Oliver Zangwill Centre and has included training days on topics such as:
We involve national and international speakers in these training events and focus on how delegates can take home cutting-edge ideas for their own practice.
We have collaborated with many services across the world and offer consultancy as well as site visits. One or more of our team attend and provide training and consultancy in specialist rehabilitation facilties. These days focus on implementing rehabilitation ideas within your particular context and often take on a workshop format. We recommend adding to this further online or face to face follow up and support.
We have hosted many rehabilitation professionals through our visiting scholar programme. This involves attending our centre for an extended period of time and can include:
